Let the packing begin...again!
I am so excited to share that we finally found the house for us. We first looked at this house almost 2 months ago and I knew since the beginning it was the house for us...Erik, on the other hand, had to let it grow on him. Since we built our first house Erik had a hard time adjusting to the older features of this house such as the intercom/speaker system throughout the house (which I can't wait to use), the laundry chute (Lord help us), and the central vac.. to list a few. I, on the other hand, think of all the houses we looked at it is the most practical for our family. In our old house, the game/play room was upstairs and my kiddos aren't old enough to play unsupervised so I had to be up there with them all the time. This house has the kitchen sink looking right into the den/play room and the only thing upstairs are the boys rooms, guest room, and bathroom. We are so excited. Pray the inspection goes well tomorrow. We are supposed to close by the end of October.

news.
We might have some good news to share regarding the house hunt but we don't want to jinx anything so we'll wait to post details on that! But, I will say the thought of unpacking boxes and actually getting to use all our furniture sounds greeeaaatttt.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago my brother and his girlfriend came to visit us. Since we moved Jack doesn't see them as often so it was nice for Jack to see 'Jeremycourt'...yes he combines their names as one collective person. Hope they never break up because Jeremy will forever be 'Jeremycourt' and I'm sure any future girlfriend wouldn't like that too much:) And I have to add that Courtney is a Chi Omega at Baylor so technically we're already sisters aww... hahaha cheeeesy much?

hannah.
I didn't think this would happen so soon. Last week Jack kept talking about something I couldn't understand. Finally, on Friday, I realized what he had been talking about all week. HANNAH. Are you kidding me? I assumed she was in his class at MDO so when took him to school this week I asked his teacher all about Hannah and she assured me Hannah is a sweet little girl. Erik and I asked Jack why he liked Hannah and he said "she plays motorcycle and she's pwetty and pways to God" (she plays with the motorcycle toy and she's pretty and she prays to God)...soooo cute it made tears come to my eyes. They grow up so fast. Not ready...

activities
Jack has started MDO back up now on tues/thurs and today was his first day to wear big boy underwear to school....I packed lots of extra clothes just in case! We have been going to the park, doing wednesday morning bible study for moms, and househunting. Things are picking up ever so slightly but I am still having a hard time adjusting. I'm praying I get a routine going soon. In the meantime, we are just enjoying our wonderful boys! Some of you have asked if Jack has a shy bone in his body...absolutely not!!! His vocabulary is "colorful" and he will talk to people, bicycles, grass, walls, whoever/whatever will listen.
update: Jack had no accidents at school today!

Potty Training
thomas the train underwear
I've heard that if you put cheerios or fruit loops in the potty it helps boys with their...ugh..."aim"...kind of a gross picture but I had to document his first time to tee tee like a big boy:)
loving the boxer briefsProbably should have done this before now because Jack has been telling me when goes tee tee and poo poo in his diaper for a while now but I've been putting it off...so yesterday we put underwear on Jack and told him he would get one m&m for going in the potty. He had a great start. Yesterday he went potty 4 times and had 2 accidents. Today he had gone potty once and had no accidents. The funny thing is everytime Erik or I have to go to the bathroom Jack wants us to have m&m's as well:)
::::::UPDATE:::::
day 2 of potty training=8 successes 1 accident
this is going much better than expected.

Sneak Preview
Since we haven't moved into out permanent house here I haven't done any decorating but I have been getting things ready for when we do move. We got Jack's big boy room furniture and we aren't even going to take it out of the boxes until we move...but one thing I am letting Jack use is his new bedding. His room won't be a dinosaur theme but Erik and I both agreed on this bedding. His big boy furniture is like a black cape cod style and we are going to paint his walls khaki. I can't wait to get started...
